Woodstove King began around a campfire, not in a boardroom. We were a group of friends united by a passion for the outdoors—for the quiet of the backcountry, the challenge of the trail, and the primal comfort of a real wood fire.

But on our adventures, we consistently faced the same frustration: the portable wood stoves on the market never quite lived up to our needs. They were either too bulky, inefficient, or simply not built to last. So, we made a decision. If the perfect stove didn’t exist, we would create it ourselves.

Driven by firsthand experience, we became our own engineers and toughest critics. Countless prototypes were tested in real wilderness conditions—in howling winds, pouring rain, and freezing temperatures. We obsessed over every weld, every airflow calculation, and every ounce of weight.
